Meet Our New Monarch Brand Host: Monica

At Monarch, we work with people, not personas. Our brand hosts are creators who care about connection, community, and showing up online in a way that feels real. That’s exactly why we’re excited to introduce Monica as our newest Monarch brand host.

Monica is a Vancouver-based millennial creator who began making content as a way to express herself and turn grief into something meaningful. What started as a personal outlet quickly became a space for connection. Her content is warm, natural, and grounded, built around shared experiences rather than performance.

A creator who leads with relatability

Monica is often complimented on how relatable her content feels. People describe her videos as comforting, clear, and easy to engage with. She has a natural ability to create content that invites conversation and makes people feel understood.

She connects most with audiences aged 25 to 34, particularly those living in Vancouver and Langley. By sharing local places, everyday moments, and honest reflections, she builds familiarity and trust with the people who follow along.

Why becoming a Monarch brand host felt full circle

This role was a full-circle moment for Monica. Her first gifted collaboration was with Monarch through a SoloVegan partnership, and that experience left a lasting impression.

Monarch stood out to her because of our focus on connection, engagement, and supporting creators who are still growing. Rather than prioritizing polish or scale, we care about how content makes people feel and how creators build relationships with their audience. That alignment made representing Monarch feel natural.

What kind of content to expect

As a Monarch brand host, Monica is excited to create content across beauty, lifestyle, and tech, while staying flexible and responsive to what her audience connects with most.

You’ll see:

  • POV-style videos
  • Talking head content
  • Short-form videos designed for conversation
  • Comment replies that extend discussions beyond the original post

Her process is simple and intentional. A thought or trend sparks an idea, she films, edits, posts, and then actively engages in the comments with follow-up content. Community is a core part of how she creates.

A little more about Monica

One thing people don’t always expect is Monica’s professional background. She is an emergency-trained registered nurse and spent 12 years working in healthcare before moving into a corporate role as a nurse educator.

She’s been creating content for less than a year, starting in May 2025, but her experience in high-pressure environments and her ability to communicate with care and clarity show up clearly in her work.

Where to find her

We’re excited to have Monica as part of the Monarch community and to build alongside her as she continues to grow. This partnership reflects what we value most at Monarch: thoughtful creators, real connection, and content that actually means something.
